Introduction

As a beta-blocker, Nebivolol is used for treating high blood pressure either alone or with other drugs. In high blood pressure, the workload of the heart and arteries are increased and the persistence of such condition for long time may result in failure of proper functioning of the heart and artery. This may also cause damage to the blood vessels of the brain, heart, and kidneys and may result a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. Under the brand name of Generic Generic Nebilet, it is available in the form of tablets in the strength of 5mg, to be taken by mouth.

Drug Indications

Generic Generic Nebilet tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. These tablets may be administered alone or with combination with other medicines containing hypertensive agents.

Mechanism of Action

The mechanism of action of the Generic Generic Nebilet tablets have not been clearly stated but is thought to be helpful in treating hypertension by decreasing the heart rate, decreasing the myocardial contractility, reducing the tonic sympathetic outflow to the periphery from cerebral vasomotor centers, suppressing of the activities of rennin and by decreasing the peripheral vascular resistance.
